"To miejsce nie jest nowoczesne — ma raczej rustykalny charakter i jeśli ktoś lubi taki klimat, z pewnością poczuje się tu bardzo dobrze. Nie są to standardy, do których przyzwyczajeni są europejscy turyści, ponieważ jest to autentyczne, tradycyjne mieszkanie z wyraźnie wyczuwalnym „starym albańskim duchem”. To właśnie ten klimat stanowi o wyjątkowości tego pensjonatu i nadaje mu duszę. Drobne minusy to jeden pokój przechodni oraz niezbyt dobre ogrzewanie, szczególnie jak na styczniowe temperatury. W dwóch pokojach oraz w łazience dostępne były małe elektryczne nagrzewnice, jednak nie zapewniały one wystarczającej ilości ciepła. Mimo to z czystym sumieniem polecam to miejsce — ma swój niepowtarzalny charakter i atmosferę. Jestem przekonana, że latem oceniłabym ten pobyt na 10/10."

"There's a slight problem finding this large, atmospheric house with over 200 years of history. If traveling by car, be aware of the steep climb to the old part of town, with its narrow, steep streets. The friendly owner and the decor make you feel like you're staying at your grandmother's house. I highly recommend it!"

"Beautiful, very old place. The location was great, just a couple of minutes to the amazing old town and castle. Free parking just around the corner. The ladies welcoming us where extremely friendly."

"It rained heavily during our time there and the old roof did have a few leaks. Nothing that bothered us too much, we just put a few buckets under the drips. We mentioned it to the host and he had already ordered somebody to fix the leaks."

"Super nice host who picked me up from the bus station and explained well the house‘s interesting history. The house itself is great, spacious and with very nice views. Location is also top, only some minutes to walk to the Bazaar."

"What a wonderful experience I had staying in this lovely historic house! I had it all to myself. It felt very indulgent. It's full of character, cool and quiet. A true delight. The quirky little nook underneath the house was a real treat. It's incredible value for money and in great location. If you're driving there, be prepared to navigate some of Gjirokaster's narrow, cobbled streets! The host was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to queries, and so clearly proud of the traditional Gjirokaster house, which has been in his family for over 300 years old. 1800's may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it, and I would stay again!"

"You get a whole villa for a very cheap price! The owners were so kind, and one of them even made a reservation for a bus ticket, and took me to the bus station, so that I could get to Berat!"
