"Location was good within walking distance of the towns shopping/high street. Rooms were clean and were large in size with a good sized bathroom. Views of the garden from the room were pleasant and the hotel was cosy given all the snow."

"Room felt a little 1970s in décor and design. Parking is difficult mid week due to markets. Check before going. There is by the road parking and parking rear parking."

"This is a clean, pleasant hotel in a quiet small town. Breakfast is excellent."

"This is a beautiful hotel and despite being in the centre of the town was very quiet and tranquil."

"However, despite emailing the hotel about our arrival (by train), they did not inform us of the problems with actually getting to the hotel. For travellers like ourselves, arriving by train, taxis need to be pre-booked well in advance (even the day before does not guarantee availability). From Herentals train station the cost was 60Euros -one way. To get to Geel was 40 Euros. There is very little public transport (no busses over the weekend). The hotel could have informed us of this and apart from giving us many telephone numbers for local taxi companies, they did not offer to take us to the station."
