"We loved Dar Nour & our cosy room. Very comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. Plenty of hot water. Delicious breakfasts & dinner. Lovely sitting room. Stylish decor. Very sweet & helpful staff. Could we please have the direct number of the owner as she suggested? Thank you."

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Pobyt był absolutnie zachwycający – miejsce urzeka pod każdym względem: idealnej lokalizacji, przepięknej architektury budynku i okolicy, niezwykłym pietyzmem detalu wnętrza. Jako osoby bardzo wymagające pod względem wygody, estetyki i architektury, byliśmy pod ogromnym wrażeniem – każdy element, od doboru kolorów po aranżację wnętrz, został zaprojektowany z wyczuciem i smakiem. To przestrzeń, w której wszystko jest dopracowane do perfekcji. To miejsce dokładnie takie, jakie moglibyśmy sobie wymarzyć. Na pewno wrócimy!"

"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."

Właściciel załatwił taniego kierowcę , który poobwozil nas po okolicznych atrakcjach. Lokalizacja wyśmienita. Obok biuro podróży gdzie można kupić bilety do Labuan Bajo i do innych miast Flores. "The evening meal provided at a very reasonable cost was one of the best I've had in a b&b. All organic salad and vegetables and that was also true of the wonderful breakfasts that are included in the room price. The location was spectacular, amazing views over the valleys below."

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

The property was great and Saritas daily fresh bread made breakfast delicious . Sadly Sharron only arrived at the end of our stay she was a mine of local knowledge and would have been great to tap into

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"Easy access to town in c 10 minutes, quiet location, fabulous mountain views with a great sheltered outside seating area. Shared kitchen, laundry and lounge were ideal, well equipped kitchen with double dishwasher and large fridge capacity. It ran very smoothly but entirely without seeing staff. Wanaka was wonderful and Springs Lodge lived up to its location"

Not much! Second drawer of dishwasher, handle was broken Sitting areas for each room open onto shared area, so some might feel a lack of privacy, and each one has 2 chairs and a table, but only one cushion (ok not a problem but a bit odd).

"We got our room on the ground floor with a nice garden view. There are chairs in front of the room that we can use to enjoy afternoon sun and the garden. Good breakfast, sufficient choices, fresh and tasty. About 10 minutes drive to the nearby beaches, supermarket"

"Easy to reach from Ljubljana, yet outside in nature fir those preferring to detach from the city at least for a bit. Comfortably arranged room, with AC. And what was most important for us - also four legged family members accepted with a smile! We absolutely LOVED the individual garden entrance we had to our room, perfect for travelers like us - with kids & dogs. In other reviews people were complaining about the train. While train tracks indeed are behind the building, in the two days spent we did not hear any train… perhaps we slept so well or simply the line is not busy at all. I think we will come back 🙂"

The acoustics. I had to come out several times to ask for music or speaking volume to be reduced as it would echo throughout the building to my room when I was trying to sleep.
