"I loved the whole concept. Just to wake up in the morning with the view of the boats in Marina is perfect. The house is more like a apartment with a perfect uper deck, with Jacuzzi and the view. You can really organize your time as you like, be active or just take it easy. In the evening is perfect moment to relax and watch the stars from hot Jacuzzi tub. Everything is close by. The beach is not a perfect one but it’s close one and you can always easily go for the swim. The house has everything you need and the host Igor was helpful in organizing everything to run smoothly. Thank you for that. I will definitely come again."

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"W tym domku trzeba być :) nie jest to pokój pełen luksusow takich jak wanna czy kuchnia ;) ale daje niesamowitą możliwość odpoczynku, obcowania z naturą. Jest urokliwy i romantyczny. Łóżko jest wygodne, wyposażone w dodatkowe koce gdyby w nocy zrobiło się chłodniej. W domku jest dostępna toaleta turystyczna żeby w nocy nie trzeba było płynąć łódka ;) jest również mała lodoweczka, czajnik i podstawowa zastawa stołowa. Normalna toaleta, łazienka z prysznicem oraz zadaszone miejsce żeby zjeść posiłek znajduje się na brzegu. Około 5 minut spacerkiem znajduje się restauracja a 30 minut - sklepik w miejscowości Usma"

"Właścicielka zrobiła dla nas zakupy na śniadanie i mogliśmy sami przygotować sobie pyszny posiłek, co biorąc pod uwagę, że byliśmy na barce :) jest dobrym rozwiązaniem. Lokalizacja świetna, na barce czysto i pomimo ograniczonej powierzchni komfortowo. Polecam taki nocleg, to naprawdę super przeżycie !"

Nur ein einziger Punkt wäre verbesserungswürdig. Verdunklungsrollos im Bereich der Schlafbereich würden für etwas längere Nächte sorgen :-)
