Green Jay Cabins

"Here is the review :)  The Green Jay cabin we stayed in was lovely. Clara was wonderful at communicating with us before and throughout the stay. The property is gorgeous and lush. If you enjoy the jungle, you will love this experience!  The cabin itself has a wonderful natural vibe inside, almost like an extension of the jungle. It's charming, clean, and comfortable! We spent a lot of time on the screened porch where there is a kitchenette (including a coffee maker and water cooler!). In the morning you can hear all kinds of birds and howler monkeys.  While the cabin is a bit out of town, there is a store right at the turn off toward Cayo Village. You can get essentials there. There's also a lovely restaurant called Carms within a 2 minute drive from the cabin.  I highly recommend considering the Green Jay cabins for your stay near San Ignacio!"

"The cabin itself is beautiful. The screened back porch faces into absolute privacy of the forest. You can sit out there and listen to howler monkeys all night. This cabin and the other cabin are about 50 ft apart and there's nothing else immediately around them. Admittedly, it isn't truly remote, so there is some noise at various times but for the price it is simply unbeatable."

"I could hear nearby chainsaws of development of some nearby property some of the time (but you can hear chainsaws from miles away so you aren't going to escape them), and when the restaurant on the street got really rowdy you could hear it, but I was literally there for New Year's so this is a bit of an anomaly."
