Situated just 10 km from Basel city centre, the family-run Miejsce Noclegowe Eremitage offers rooms with a coffee machine, an en-suite bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Its lokal gastronomiczny serves cordon bleu specialities. All rooms at Eremitage Obiekt have a seating area, a safety deposit box, a minibar, a telephone and a flat-screen TV. "Very friendly personnel. Right next to the train station. Our room rate included a free use of the public transport in the Basel Area, this was super convenient ! We used the train to and from Basel several times a day and it was all free ! Big thumbs up for this service ! Breakfast was plenty and good. The restaurant was also very good and there is a small, but nice patio. There is also a supermarket downstairs in the same building. Very convenient if you need some shopping items and don't have to carry them a long way."

"We had a wonderfully warm welcome, so helpful with instructions of how to get around the city and recommendations of things to do. We were there for an event and the host was very helpful in telling us how to get around using the tram (but also recommended walks too). The room was a nice temperature, comfy, clean, really enjoyed it! Breakfast was a lovely continental selection. Location was excellent for the tram and links into Basel. Really quiet and nice neighbourhood. Absolutely would stay here again when visiting Basel. Parking was really useful too!"

"The owner's family are all kind, friendly and helpful. The sweetest surprise is the young couple speak Mandarin. The husband was in China for 4 years and the wife is from China. The food is very good, both breakfast and during the day. Very good location. 1 minute walk from the tram station. Beautiful mountains and lake nearby. Thoughtful advice on sightseeing."
