Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a restauracja serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. À la carte breakfast included in rate. All rooms have windows, ceiling fans, air conditioner and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. The front desk can help arrange kayaking and other tours and visits to local villages and nearby turtle nesting sites when in season. Tortuguero Airport is located just across the river from Tortuga Lodge, and San José is a 30-minute flight away. The nearest town is a 10-minute boat ride away. Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge is accesible by boat or plane only.

"Świetny kontakt z właścicielem, był życzliwy i pomocny (chociaż w trakcie naszego pobytu był poza obiektem i mieliśmy kontakt tylko przez Whatsup). Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko pięknych miejsc i atrakcji. W domku jest dobre WiFi, jest farelka (bardzo potrzebna, bo noce są zimne!). Domek jest nowoczesny, ze świetnie wyposażoną kuchnią oraz dodatkowym tarasem (ze stołem i dwoma krzesłami) od strony lasu. Na terenie działki były poidełka dla kolibrów."
"Excellent food - we had several meals here and everything was outstanding. Great service and very helpful staff. Apartments were lovely as were the gardens and mountain views. There are three trails you can walk from Villa Calas - we did them all and all were lovely. Well located for visiting Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfalls which was the highlight of our stay."

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"
