"The staff were ultra helpful and friendly, and we were so grateful to them for holding a room for us while we waited for a flight out. The room was spotless, beds were very comfy and the location was v central. Great to have breakfast on the upstairs terrace."

"Obiekt w pełni spełnił moje oczekiwania ale najważniejsze jest sama wyspa, tutaj świat się zatrzymał około 2 km od obiektu jest Dzika Plaża Ponta preta która ma około 100 m szerokości i 10 km długości, byliśmy tam jedynymi turystami przepiękny biały piasek mini wodospad i nikogo więcej. Główna miejska plaża również jest bardzo przyjemna i nie zadeptana. Samo miasteczko trochę senne Ale oferujące wszelkie udogodnienia potrzebne współczesnemu człowiekowi"

"The apartment and the facilities were excellent. The owners had thought of everything. The location was a gentle ten minute stroll into the town. Henning informed us of where to go for any items we required including a bakery, supermarket and fruit market- as well has supplied us with taxi numbers and tour guides . The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. For a self catering apartment it was fantastic. It was also exceptionally clean. The owners were really responsive to all our questions and when we were there Henning was also on hand for anything we needed to know. They even put up Christmas decorations for us. Wonderful hosts."

"The best place to stay in Maio - Matia and Mirko are excellent hosts, always helpful and very communicative and truly wanting to make sure you have a lovely stay! They went above and beyond to ensure we made it back in time for our flight and for that we are truly thankful! The facilities are the best in Maio, room is cozy, bed is comfortable, everything is very clean and AC works well. There's a good breakfast available and the restaurant is also very good. In addition to this, there are a lot of activities you can book directly and we had a great time with our rented car visiting Ilha do Maio. All in all, despite some issues with travel arrangements, we had a lovely experience in Maio and would highly recommend visiting and staying in Pensão Big Maio!"
