"Vistamar is a special place with incredible views and such a homely, peaceful and cozy vibe! I could have happily stayed here for several weeks instead of just 6 days, and am already thinking of returning as soon as possible! The room was large and had a lot of storage space, and the bed was super comfy. I loved the shared kitchen/garden/chill out space downstairs, as well as the spacious rooftop deck that's used for yoga classes in the mornings. The beach and some very cool bars, cafes and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The optional meals at Vistamar (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are a nice touch, and are fresh, local and healthy!"

"I can't speak too highly of this accommodation which we found to be absolutely superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Matteo who was extremely helpful and informative throughout our stay. The chef was on a fortnights holiday but the owner arranged for someone to provide breakfast during our stay and it was easily the best breakfast we had in our five weeks in Ecuador. The accommodation had a separate sitting room with nice sofas and our bed and shower were both excellent. A large outdoor kitchen and dining space exists with all facilities needed to cook meals. The owner provides a large fridge which is fully stocked with beer and guests are able to take what they want during the stay and pay when leaving. The views from the top deck of the accommodation over the river estuary and beach are breathtaking."

"Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Das Personal und vor allem der Inhaber sind extrem hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen und sind anstatt der ursprünglich geplanten zwei Nächte direkt eine ganze Woche geblieben. Die Ausflüge haben uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht und auch die Surfstunden sind zu empfehlen. Wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal hier."

"Schöne Zimmer in einem toll hergerichteten Haus mit gemütlichem Garten, gut ausgestatteter Gemeinschaftsküche und Yogaterrasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Der Besitzer Mateo und die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auch einer von ihnen organisierten aufregenden Kayak-Tour angeschlossen, bei der wir auch Seelöwen und Walen begegnet sind. Obwohl wir ursprünglich nur eine Nacht bleiben wollten, sind wir eine Woche geblieben, weil es uns so gefallen hat."
