PENSION OVIEDO

"Bardzo dobre miejsce, zaraz przy dworcu kolejowym, czysto, łazienka w porządku, łóżko wygodne. Dwie starsze panie, które "zarządzały" podczas naszego pobytu wyjaśniały w sposób przystępny wszystko tak, że nawet nie znający języka hiszpańskiego jest w stanie się połapać o co chodzi."

"Jest bardzo głośno. Z racji tego, że brak jest jakiegokolwiek kącika kuchennego przydałyby się choćby szklanki w pokoju. Nie ma możliwości przechowania bagażu."

"By far, this has to be the most hidden gem in all of Oviedo. The place is just perfect in every sense. My room was immaculate and although it faced a noisy part of the street, I was able to sleep well. The lady who administers the pensión and the gentleman who maintains it are just lovely, so kind-hearted. Due to poor planning, I had to make a last minute reservation and found the place and could not believe their prices. I am a world traveler and tend to be demanding when it comes to lodging, and this family-run pensión was excellent and beyond. Will definitely return!"

"Everything was perfect. If possible, I would add a blow dryer. I stayed during the hot summer but it wasn't a big deal and went out with my hair wet."

"Location is opposite the railway station and at the start of one of the main streets that leads to the nice central park. A few streets away from the main shopping street where no traffic is. The rooms are on the second floor to be reached by elevator. Clean room and normal size bathroom with good shower (room 4). Under the pension is a café/bistro Santa Christina located that serves tostados and pinxtos in the morning with very good coffee served by kind and polite staff at good prices. Warehouse El Cortes Ingles at few hundred meters."

"On arrival i had to wait outside as no one was at reception and a speaker 🔈 announced something in Spanish. After 10 minutes a lady arrived to let me into the building. The lady did not speak one word English, only Spanish. I suggest that for next guests the speaker says “stay there, someone is coming to let you in” Luckely during the 4 days stay a man who was part of the Staff spoke English to communicate."

"Exceptional value in Oviedo whether you are travelling as a tourist, preparing for Camino or both. Close to train station, bus station, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well maintained."

"A bit hard to find but it’s just opposite the station. Some road noise but we slept well"

"Neat and nice, even though simple. The early check-in time was a big advantage. The host was nice and polite. The room felt quite cool at least for the moment, although there was no aircon. The window had wooden blinds, and at least my window didn't get much sun (mine faced the station). Overall a fairly comfortable stay. There's a café/pastelería practically below, in the corner, if you need to find breakfast."

"You hear everything from the corridor loudly, so when the first guests leave their rooms and talk in the corridor, you wake up too. Traffic noise was more like a constant hum and didn't disturb as much. The shower tap worked the "wrong way round", nearly burned myself, could use some colour tags. The location is quite off-centre, so be prepared to walk, but then again Oviedo isn't very big - it's a little over a kilometre to the old town, for example."
