"Fabulous house on a quiet street, with parking, but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need,very much a home from home. Balcony and sheltered private courtyard to sit out on. Our host Beatrice was very kind and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Bergerac is a beautiful town with lots of historical interest and numerous places to eat. Would recommend a car to explore the surrounding areas as public transport limited. Would highly recommend"

"Beatrice met us as arranged despite the flight being delayed. the propert is in a fantastic location, very quiert but 2 mins from the Notre Dame. Lovely space and facilities, lovely outdoor space and everythinf was excellent"

"It was central to all amenities. The apartment was clean and comfortable, attention to every detail. Mosquito nets meant we could leave the window open at night as well as using the fan. The living room has air conditioning which is great when it’s 30+ degrees. Garden is extremely private and a sun trap. Internet extremely fast. The usual holiday home gives you the bare essentials but this apartment gives you an home. Beatrice is a wonderful host, who is most thoughtful even checking in with us part way through our holiday to see if we were okay. I would 100% recommend this apartment"

Petite terrasse confortable et agréable et bien équipé également. L'hôtesse est acceuillante et bienveillante Un garage appréciable pour la voiture. "Charles is an excellent host with refined taste and an appreciation of traditional French style. The house is magnificent and is furnished and decorated with beautiful use of colour and texture and the antique furniture and paintings are delightful. Beautiful spacious and characterful bedroom and bathroom. My stay felt like being a guest at an eighteenth century house party and Charles' relaxed and friendly manner was wonderful. I was looking for a genuinely French experience rather than an impersonal hotel and both Charles and the lovely French couple who were also staying were happy to encourage my French speaking. A truly memorable experience and I hope to return. Thanks for a great stay Charles."

"Netter Empfang. Die Unterkunft ist kurz vor den Toren von Chalus, sehr ruhig gelegen. Ca. 450m entfernt ist ein Supermarkt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Es war alles da, was man so braucht. Das Badezimmer war schön groß. Eine kleine Terrasse hinter dem Haus ist gut geeignet für einen Abendtrunk oder für das Frühstück am Morgen."
"The apartment is exactly as advertised. Very cosy (but small, just as it says in the advert). Lovely fridge, useful washing machine. There was everything for a nice family stay. In our experience, it is perfect for 3 people (but it is equipped to host 4). The hosts were very helpful with all the instructions upon arrival. Parking place is right next to the building complex. It is a great value for money, considering a nice location and quiet and safe surroundings. We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment!"
"Perfectly located - rural feel yet only 15 minutes away from Chinon and other local towns. Michel was a welcoming and generous host. The house was well equiped and with all the cooking facilities you would wish for. The extensive garden and far reaching views were exceptional."
