"Accueil parfait, avec une bouteille de la production, bien agréable. Un très beau gîte à la décoration soignée, confortable et très propre avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Mont Canigou et sur la baie de Perpignan ! Un rideau en bas de l'escalier permettrait de garder la chaleur dans la chambre. Et des poubelles de tri seraient les bienvenues. Sinon, RAS ! C'est un gîte où nous retournerons avec plaisir."

"Chantegrel is part of a big attractive house, most of which is lived in by the owner; at the other end is a smaller rental property, and there is a further separate rental building. It has a beautiful location in the Dordogne hills, and comes with a large terrace with a wonderful view enhanced in the morning by numerous hot air balloons. The kitchen is well-equipped, though could do with a microwave particularly as the gas hob is a bit erratic. The bedrooms are all a good size and ensuite with baths and showers. A particular feature, which the children loved, is the large and attractive swimming pond, complete with tadpoles, frogs and dragonflies, with an environmentally friendly filter system and a stony/shingly beach area well supplied with umbrellas and sun loungers."
