"Tanlay Château was next door. Just outside our window. After a very pleasant stay with dinner in the attached bistro (delicious and good value) we were able to load our bikes up that morning leave them downstairs, and go for the 10:15am guided tour of the château. Between breakfast and the tour we visited the boulangerie and small grocery store. They were just outside the property’s gate. Tanlay is a top spot. Easy bike storage. Lovely host. Thank you."

"We had an extraordinary moment! travelling by bike two adults and two children, it was a rainy day and Moulin Neuf appears in front of us like and oasis, at the right moment, the happiness of all of us was total, we were all alone in the whole Hotel, using two rooms (both very charming decorated and amazingly big!, sunny and with great view to nature all around). The Staff was always very nice and sympatric with us and the children."

"The location is lovely in a quiet street alongside Chateau Tanlay, very old and quaint, lots of interesting features. Our host ensured safe parking for our motorcycle and recommended a lovely restaurant alongside the nearby canal. Breakfast was lovely, taken in the enclosed courtyard, very atmospheric."

"A very warming welcome in a lovely charming hotel. The host was very friendly and our room was nice and clean. Ideal familyroom with 2 seperated rooms with a door betalen them. The diner in the restaurant was very very nice and they made a special vegetarian plate for our daughter."

"The room is not very good isolated when it comes to noise and rumours from other guests. When you are a light sleeper, it is a bit disturbing."

"Truly charming B&B adjacent to the chateau, with excellent rustic restaurant, good wine, and that has retained all its character. You could not ask for more in rural France."

"This was a truly exceptional experience to start our holiday with. Everything including nice surroundings (Chateau de Tanlay was literally around the corner), the old lovely cosy house of the hotel and the great home-made meals served at the hotel. We felt relaxed and comfortable straight away. We stayed for one night and although one of us woke up in the middle of the night and could hear a bird of pray (an owl?) calling and the bells chiming every hour, that only added charm to our peaceful stay. The menu had two options for each a starter and a main and we tried everything among us. Loved everything. And there was a big choice of desserts - a tart tatin was out of this world. The prices are extremely reasonable, too, we have not seen those for a year or more!"

"Lovely position near the chateau. A great welcome from Aude - we were very wet having cycled along the canal in the rain and she went out of her way to make us warm - and dry! A lovely room and very comfortable bed. A very pleasant stay, highly recommended."
