"Ik ging een week naar de Wake Up Retreat van Plum Village in Verdelot. Het was doenbaar om dagelijks naar La Désirade te rijden. Ik vond het spannend om er alleen naartoe te gaan, maar ik voelde mij er veilig. De gastheer was vriendelijk en flexibel. Ik had hem op voorhand verwittigd dat ik laat zou arriveren en hij was heel begripvol. Het huis was netjes, ik had alles wat ik nodig had en de omgeving is rustig. Ik kon er ook mijn auto parkeren."

"The owner's daughter spoke very good English and was at our help wherever we had any questions. She is a very happy and positive person who welcomed us with a really delicious meal. I do recomed the place. It is peaceful. Though we had no car and arreived by plane to the country, travelling was easy because there is a train station in the neighbourhod from where you can explore the whole country We loved the place."
