Le Champêtre

"Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The accommodation was very good, the location was great, remote and quiet, yet close to a lot of the things you'd want to visit in the valley of the Dordogne. A very nice swimming pool that is shared with the residents of the other two gïtes on the site. The house has a very nice and private outside area with a great view, and we barely heard our neighbors. The very friendly owners live in a house on the terrain. They make a point of keeping their distance, but are always ready to help or inform if you ask them to. By the way, the hot air balloons, they are real. If they actually drift over the house depends on the wind direction, but we've seen a lot of them in our week there. We hope to go back there in the future, and would recommend this place for everyone looking for a nice and relaxing stay."

"Really liked that we felt we were in a peaceful, beautiful remote area yet were very close to amenities and popular sites and towns. The hosts were superb, even though our French was not that strong. The veranda was a lovely space for morning and evening meals. Lots of internal space, nice to have a pool. Property location had lots of character."

"Not much. 1st floor was a bit hot at night, but in high summer there is air-con available. and even outside this there are nets over windows to keep insects out."

"Chrystelle und Stephane machen das wirklich sehr gut! Ein herrliches Fleckchen, ruhig mit grandioser Aussicht und schönem Pool . Sauber, geräumig, bestens ausgestattet, alles da was man braucht (zum Wäsche waschen stellt Chrystelle auf Wunsch ihre eigene Waschmaschine zur Verfügung). Zentral, egal ob man nach Sarlat, an die Dordogne oder an die Vézêre möchte, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in ca. 1/2 Std. erreichbar. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren!!"

"Rustige en mooie ligging. Aardige eigenaars. Ze hebben voor n extra relaxstoel gezorgd, zodat we lekker konden zitten. De locatie was ook vlakbij mooie toeristische plekken."

"Toen mijn man hulp nodig had ivm n verstuiking, kregen we niet echt hulp. Gelukkig spreek ik goed Frans en heb zelf t ziekenhuis gebeld. De volgende dag vroegen de eigenaars pas hoe t was."

"Die Ferienunterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, in schöner Umgebung, mit gepflegtem Pool sowie mit Fernblick von der überdachten Terrasse aus. Bei unserem Aufenthalt waren wir über die Klimaanlage sehr froh. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem konnten wir in der Unterkunft sehr schöne Urlaubstage genießen."
