"The heated pool perfect temperature and sliding cover v easy to use and when swimming under it, there is plenty of headroom. Hot tub easy to use. sofa v comfy. kitchen and dining room good equipment. beds all comfortable (could do with extra pillows). Shutters excellent form of security when you go out and black out for night time. Extremely quiet, peaceful countryside but with a few neighbours so one doesn't feel isolated. Wouldn't suit noisy group who want nearby bars, restaurants, etc. Location only 1 hr from Calais and ½ hr from Le touquet. Expensive but great facilities."

"Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, w mieszkaniu było wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy przy krótkim pobycie. Ogromny plus za życzliwość właścicielki, która pomogła nam bardzo z organizacją transferu i poleciła pyszną restaurację tuż obok mieszkania."
"A wonderfully secluded and isolated location to relax and forget the world! The owners were very amicable and have thought of practically everything. A plunge pool for cooling off, table tennis, really well-equipped kitchen, outdoor dining, washing machine, BBQ, excellent showers. It is a beautifully restored cow shed and was a lovely, comfortable base for excursions to local villages and Chateaux. There are boulangeries in Villeperdue and Thilouze. Thilouze has a small supermarket with most essentials (locally made pate was fantastic; as was the local speciality, rillons). For fresh fruit and veg and dairy products you are better going to the small grocer/delicatessen in Sorigny. The bar-tabac in Villeperdue were friendly. Restaurants in Azay-le-Rideau are excellent. Old Tours is wonderful to explore."
