"The Lodge des Oliviers is a fantastic accommodation. It is clean, modern, has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space offers privacy; although the owners' house is close by, you really feel like you have your own space without being overlooked. The apartment has been tastefully decorated, with quality materials. We spent a week there and would happily book again. The owners are friendly and available if needed."

"Very eclectic and beautiful old house, in a charming square with arm-in-arm strollers and kids playing safely. Two excellent restaurants opposite the front door Le Vigourie and IX Louis, plus others very close by. Good bakers 5 minutes away. Plenty of one-off shops selling designer stuff, brocantes and food & drink. We thought the Sunday market was excellent. We were given a residents card to park in a field, entry was simple but finding the exit more difficult! We were allowed to unload/load outside the door."

The house is charming, well-decorated and well-situated for exploring Burgundy. Helena even kindly posted my partner's phone cable back to us when he left it behind. Would definitely recommend."

"The location was excellent, so quick to get to the beach. Easy to get to the train station to get into La Rochelle town centre. We loved the swimming pool too."
