"The room was really spacious and was perfect for our family of four. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which was lovely. The pool was heated and open 24 hrs, so we could swim any time. The owners and staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful."

"This was our second time staying in the family suite at L'Escale de Broglie. It's a lovely hotel and the suite is perfect for our family of five. The pool is great and breakfast was lovely. It's a good base for exploring the area and nearby Bernay has some great restaurants. We also got lovely pizza from the take away along the road."

"We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday and didn't realise the hotel restaurant isn't open those days."

"Room was really excellent - spacious, well decorated and very clean. Large, sizeable sitting area and with a fridge. Having a restaurant was also really convenient and the dinner was modestly priced. The little town of Broglie is extremely attractive - and Fresnel lived just across the street from the hotel."

"The breakfast was basic, although good and fresh croissants and bread. We would have appreciated fresh fruit and not from a tin, especially as so many fruits were in season in France. Also we had to insist that we wanted to sit outside in the attractive conservatory, rather than the rather dim and unattractive breakfast room"
