"The tranquillity of the location. It is on the side of a gentle hill with views onto distant hills. The room is furnished with an old fashioned wooden table with two matching chairs which reminded me of my grandmothers house. The bed is solid with modern mattress. The kitchenette is equipped with a modern twin induction hob and there is a convection microwave. No dishwasher, instead there is a fancy draining array to stack the cutlery, crockery and pans - fun to use. Plenty of hot gushing water in the shower and all the plumbing works just fine."

"Interesting buildings and rooms... feels like staying in a forest. Hosts are friendly and welcoming (and flexible too). The rooms are beautifully created and very well constructed in a Japanese aethestic, shower excellent! Dinner was excellent although there is no choice (however, neither of us eat frogs legs which was the main course and the chef kindly made us a duck main course instead). Brilliant and reasonable cost wine list too! Breakfast was also excellent."

Lovely pool, fab breakfast and characterful rooms including a huge living and kitchen area on the top floor. "Location is very rural - not close to other facilities, shops etc, so advise take supplies with you. This is a "rustic" property, nicely renovated & exceptionally clean. The host is really obliging. Breakfast is typical French and generous. Facilities available to guests are good."
