"Tranquility in a beautiful area of France. Lovely rooms in an unusual, amazing property and a super hostess. Garden with various seating areas and use of pool. We stayed one night (have on two previous occasions too) as stop over on journey to southern France but would happily have stayed for longer."

"This is the perfect place to stay. Right in the heart of the best street in town. We were in Apartment 2 and it was lovely and quiet. We were at the back. 3 great bedrooms, large sitting room and kitchen area. Fabulous."

"The property was beautiful. It’s location is fabulous, being close to the sea, and also the town of Saint Marie is absolutely gorgeous (if you want something a little quieter than Sainte Martin or La Flotte) which my family and I valued. We all absolutely loved the pool which was beautifully kept. The Villa itself was wonderfully spacious. The outside table was great for dining outside and on the one occasion that it rained, the inside table was wonderful too. A particular bonus was the table in the glass fronted area which the children could use for crafting and colouring. As it had a plastic cover on, we didn’t have to worry as everything could be easily wiped clean. A couple of recent reviews that we read had been worrying before our trip but from our perspective they seemed very unfair. Admittedly, all guests have their own agenda, but certainly our experience was of a fantastic holiday."

"Bardzo mili gospodarze. Zostaliśmy bardzo miło przywitani, nie mieliśmy problemu z komunikacją. Apartament bardzo duży, przestronny, znajduje się na piętrze domu, oddzielony jest od części gospodarzy osobnym wejściem. Salon połączony jest z aneksem kuchennym, bardzo dobrze wyposażonym. W części kuchennej znajduje się płyta indukcyjna, piekarnik, ekspres do kawy, zlewozmywak i lodówka. Dodatkowo do dyspozycji były talerze, szklanki, sztućce, patelnia itp. W salonie znajdowała się wygodna sofa, oraz telewizor. W części jadalnej znajduje się stół szklany z krzesłami. Sypialnie duże, łóżka wygodne. Łazienka bardzo przestronna z wanną i dwoma umywalkami. Toaleta bardzo czysta. W każdym pomieszczeniu znajdowały się okna dachowe. Z salonu widać latające samoloty. Apartament bardzo czysty. Okolica bardzo ładna. Lokalizacja bezpieczna, można było zostawić auto przed bramą, bez dodatkowych opłat. W pobliżu znajduje się piekarnia, niedaleko jest Lidl i Intermarche."

"If I could give this review 100 stars it would not be enough. Laurence and Claude were the best of hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Allowing me to join them for a cold beer or iced water after a long hot day was heaven. They are beautiful people inside and out. The room was perfect with every need covered. The pool was great to relax in after a day of touring. Centrally placed around 30 minutes by bus to Bordeaux and 50 minutes to Cap Ferret. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from La Maison Du Las. Nearest village is St Jean D'Illac. 5 minutes by bus or 5km walk. All amenities you need and a couple of good restaurants. L'Altico served me well for 2 nights."
