"La proximité avec le centre ville de St Jean de Luz , on y est rapidement à pied . La maison est assez grande , pour 4 adultes c'est nickel . Rien à redire"

"La disponibilité et la confiance de l’hôte : il appelle en début et en fin de séjour pour prendre des nouvelles, donner des indications si nécessaire, mais nous fait confiance et nous laisse en autonomie sur l’heure d’arrivée et de départ. L’appartement est très fonctionnel, avec parking pour la voiture. À 4, nous ne nous sommes pas marché dessus, nous nous sommes tous sentis à l’aise et avions de la place pour nous retrouver tous autour de la table, dans le salon, pour circuler dans la cuisine ... J’ai adoré la déco de la salle de bains, l'aménagement des chambres, la literie, le linge de lit. Et malgré l’axe très passant et le train, l’isolation phonique est nickel, nous avons rapidement oublié le bruit du dehors. La localisation de l’appartement est aussi top. Petite supérette à 2 pas, boulangerie de l’océan dans le quartier, et E.Leclerc sur le même axe un peu plus loin en voiture. Port, plages, St.Jean-de-Luz, tout est faisable à pied."

"We stayed at the cottage in June 2024 for thirteen nights and found it to be truly wonderful. It is well equipped and comfortably furnished, a real home from home. The owners, Fred and Isa, live opposite and provide friendly help and advice about local attractions without ever being obtrusive. The position of the house is quiet and great for visiting La Rochelle and Ile de Re. The local town of Chatellilon is charming, classily low key yet unpretentious. It offers a good range of shops, and a visit to the daily covered food market is a must. The beaches are admirable, superb for swimming and sunbathing, and there are some very nice restaurants. We made the short excursion to Fouras a couple of times to take in Fort Vauban as well as the distant view of Fort Boyard. The beach at Fouras is gorgeous, and a dip at high tide is perfect."
