A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Zakwaterowanie, a 4-star 15th century inn. Nearby Great Missenden is home to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and in the local area there are many quaint villages and pretty country walks to discover. The village can be reached from central London via the Underground system to Amersham or via rail links from Great Missenden itself.

"All the staff were friendly and welcoming on our arrival.Shown to our room and a hair dryer provided with no hesitation.The bed was very comfortable and a very functional shower room and toilet was ensuite.Nice soaps were provided for the shower. Tea and coffee facilities were in the room as was a large flat screen TV. We met friends at the Nags and had a lovely Three course meal and drinks from the well stocked bar.The staff again were always on hand to help from the bar and at our table.Thanks to the Chef for providing hot tasty meals for us all.The full English breakfast in the morning was just as tasty with butchers sausages and all cooked beautifully. Great service and value and would recommend."

"Beautiful pub! Great value… It’s an old property so mind your step & your head! The room was a little rough round the edges but it was charming, clean, comfortable with good facilities. Jamie & her team were all so friendly & helpful, they really made our stay. Food was awesome! Would definitely stay there again!"

"A very old pub. Creaky floors and low ceilings.Facilities were good. Very comfortable bed. Great tea and coffee making stuff. Everything worked efficiently. Staff were lovely very helpful and made you feel at home. Price excellent. Food was really good. Scrambled egg for breakfast for perfect!"
