"Very friendly and helpful hosts, very sweet of them to call and paid for a taxi for us when we were leaving. They offered us food and presents too. Informed us of good spots to visit too."

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

Nieszczelne okno, więc jak coś się działo na dworze to było głośno (ale mieliśmy też okno od strony ulicy, może dlatego), ciężko było dokręcić prysznic tak żeby z niego nie kapała woda. Poza tym nie mam zastrzeżeń.

Wszystko było super! Czystość, wystrój, położenie, dobry internet, streamingi.

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

Měli jsme to trochu dál od Velké pláže a začátek Velké pláže je přeplněný turisty, tak jsme museli každý den jezdit autem. Ke starému městu také daleko. Ale bylo to blízko k hezké skalnaté části a živé ulici na začátku Velké pláže. V ubytování mne překvapila společná kuchyň, ale nakonec jsme si zvykli a byla možnost poznat i naše sousedy, hehe. 👍🏻

Pachnące ręczniki, pościel. Miejsce parkingowe praktycznie pod oknem. Naprawdę bardzo dobre warunki za dobrą stawkę."

3 łóżko było w postaci przystawki, niezbyt wygodnej.

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Mr. Maurits was really nice and friendly. He offered us a lot of tips from Aruba. He was with us at the biggest supermarket in Aruba. The place was very nice with all you need for a long stay. The pool was perfect."

La cama es un poco incomoda y la habitación bastante calurosa para el verano pero hay un ventilador.

Some issues booking a taxi at reception during Zomba festival (bit too far to walk to main events)

"Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.

"Nocleg jest w fantastycznej, starej, drewnianej willi, bardzo przestrzennej z dużą ilością kanap, a meble i łóżka nie odbiegają stylem ( srebrne gałki itd.). Właściciel kapitalny! Bardzo przyjazny, otwarty, zaangażowany, jest krok przed Tobą, żeby Ci dogodzić. Od razu zadbał o to, by dać mi grzejnik do pokoju, bo noc może być zimna. Gdybym mówiła po francusku moglibyśmy prowadzić długie pogadanki. Pan stara się mówić po angielsku. Zebrał dla mnie pomarańcze z ogródka. Wszystkie inne noclegi w tak doskonałej lokalizacji są o wiele droższe. Można sobie usiąść w ogródku, a WiFi nadal będzie łapać zasięg. W pełni dostępna kuchnia z podstawowymi środkami spożywczymi."

Trochę słabiej jest z parkowaniem, ale jest możliwe na ulicy. Łazienka jest trochę gorszej jakości, al właściciel pracuje nad tym.

"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

"Największym plusem był zacieniony ogród i basen. Cały obiekt jest mały, dzięki czemu zawsze był bardzo ceniony przez nas spokój. Lokalizacja, bliskość do morza oraz sklepów, restauracji, piekarni i komunikacji miejskiej. I przede wszystkim Gospodarz miły i bardzo pomocny. Pokój zaskoczył nas pozytywnie wielkością, łazienki malutkie ale dużo ładniejsze niż na zdjęciach. Summer Lodge jest dużo ładniejsze w rzeczywistości niż na zdjęciach z Booking."

Plusem i minusem jest bliskość ulicy.
