Klimatyzacja w jednym z pokoi nie działała - to jest niedopuszczalne w takich temperaturach. Pani tylko napisała ze goście poprzedni zabrali ze sobą pilota - w takich wypadkach trzeba zapewnić wiatrak lub cokolwiek innego. Dwa razy w domu zobaczyłyśmy wielkiego karalucha. Okropne. Kanapy są strasznie niewygodne.

"Location, communication and cleanliness. Size of villa was better than expected."

"We had a wonderful week at Les Gites de Robinson. Communication with Carole had been excellent in the weeks prior to our holiday and when we did arrive she was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The gite is spacious and spotlessly clean and the kitchen has all that is needed to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable, the showers in both the modern bathrooms are excellent and, although we did not make use of it, the swimming pool is in a lovely garden setting. The gite is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, only about 300m from a well-stocked supermarket and bakery. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for having us, Carole and Gilles!"

"The location is handy to town if you do not have a car it is a quick 5 minute walk to the main centre. It had all the necessities for our stay. We loved the deck and how quiet it was. The rooms were comfortable and having mesh windows reduced the mozzie bites. The images of the property are exactly what we you get when you hire this beautiful place."

Would have been great to have air con in the back room but the heat was manageable.

Dbający o wszystko manager Albino oraz bardzo sympatyczny personel i urocza suczka Luna 🫶🏽🦮Panuje tutaj rodzinna atmosfera. Podczas tygodniowego pobytu czuliśmy się jak w domu i zdecydowaliśmy przedłużyć nasz pobyt na kolejne tygodnie 🙂 W przyszłości będąc na Fogo zamierzam ponownie odwiedzić to miejsce 🙌🏾"

The shower pressure was on a low side however the owner promised to act on it.

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.

"We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

"The host Greg answered all of our questions and was always available for help! The bedrooms are fair sized and all with bathrooms which is fantastic. The house has many great amenities."

Communal seating arrangements could be better / cosier, as well as outside space would be amazing with a terrace! Sauna had limited hours that we can't control, but is what is!

"It was quiet, but so close to town and beach. Michelle was fantastic with helping us find restaurants, book tours and taxis - just a lovely person. She could not have been more helpful."

I sometimes had trouble sleeping because of the noise outside - but there is not much one could do about that!

The house was somewhat far from the center (~30m walk), but if you have a car or bike it's not a big deal

- Confusing check in. Drove all the way down to then have to drive all the way back up again? - Got told on check in that they have a fair use electric policy. I asked for further info about how much usage that meant and how much I would have to pay extra but the staff could not clarify, only that we should use aircon max of 12 hrs a day. We are sensible with electric, but still made me wonder if we had to pay at end of stay. (We didn’t have to luckily) - Could not turn off outside lights and it bothered me as the room wasn’t very dark because of that. (Also thought they were concerned about electric usage??) I asked the question but never got a reply from them… I would recommend improving these points, but we still had an amazing stay!!
