For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

"Najlepszy na naszej trasie (byliśmy w 8). Pokój w jaskini (świadomy wybór), ale z małym okienkiem na korytarz. Dobrze urządzone, zamiast niepotrzebnej klimatyzacji grzejnik + wiatrak. Lodówka, kosmetyki, suszarka do włosów i … wanna z jacuzzi. Dobra lokalizacja - blisko centrum. Bardzo bogate śniadanie, wszystko pyszne. Miły personel, nawet sprzątanie mimo krótkiego pobytu. I wisienka na torcie - dwupoziomowy taras - jeden zadaszony z krzesłami, drugi otwarty z dywanami i poduchami do siedzenia…fantastycznie było poleniuchować tam w słońcu."

Pewnie typowy dla jaskiniowych, słabiej wentylowanych pokoi lekki zapach stęchlizny.

"The guesthouse was very clean and beautiful, as well as quiet with access from the back of the house. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a microwave, fridge, oven, sink and cleaning supplies and cutlery and spices. Our room was a good size, with charging ports near the bed, clean sheets and covers and enough space for our large luggage. The location was also really good, close to the airport. It's very close to thr Trollkunfinger walk. You can park right beside the house, and there's space for at least three cars."

There were some loud motercycle noises in the night, it did keep us from sleeping a little, so it seems like the neighbourhood can get a bit noisy. The nice bathroom with a standing shower is in the basement, which you need to access from outside or from a trap door in the kitchen. The other bathroom has a tub but doesn't have enough ceiling space to stand. The basement was a little cold and dusty and so bathing there was a little scary!

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.

"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"

"Bardzo ładny domek i ogrod. Jest przytulnie, hamak, taras, wygodny materac, wentylator. Blisko do sklepu i transportu lodka Ogolnie super miejsce. Jednak wybierajac to miejsce trzeba wziac pod uwage kilka rzeczy: do plazy jest duzo dalej niz wynika z mapy-ok. 20-25 minut dookola wyspy. Na wyspie jest czynna tylko jedna restauracja. W dzien cisza i spokoj ale wieczorami i nocami po wodzie niosa sie dzwieki imprez w Bocas Town. Jesli ci to nie przeszkadza to bedzie to swietna lokalizacja."

"Marianne, værten, kom helt ud på vejen og tog imod mig, jeg blev budt på saft og der var tid til en hyggelig snak. Det er et fint sted med tekøkken, opholdsstue og skøn altan. Kommer gerne igen🤗"

Der er ikke noget dårligt at sige om dette sted, det skulle da lige være at der er dårlig internet dækning.

The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. "To miejsce jest w nie-hotelowej części wyspy. Tam można zobaczyć taką Arubę, jaka ona jest dla lokalnej ludności (tej niezamożnej większości mieszkańców wyspy). To nie ma nic wspólnego z obrazem Aruby jako miejsca luksusowego wypoczynku dla bogatych turystów. Miejsce prawdziwego życia w karaibskim tyglu i społeczeństwie multi-kulti. Ludzie mili, kontaktowi zawsze gotowi pomóc. Gospodarz tryska pozytywną energią i będzie twoim kumplem od pierwszej chwili. Chętnie opowiada o okolicy i o sobie, o tym tym jak jemu tam się żyje i wszystkich innych urokach bycia na Arubie. Dobre miejsce na wypady na dzikie i skaliste wybrzeże N-E oraz uroczą baby beach."

Sporo dużych psów biegających po ulicach. Czasami trudno ocenić ich intencje ... My spacerowaliśmy kilometrami po okolicy tolerując szczekających towarzyszy bez żadnych niemiłych przygód (ale mnie psy zwykle kochają), natomiast ktoś, kto nie czuje się swobodnie w kontaktach z psami może odczuwać poważny dyskomfort. Jay, jest wspaniałym człowiekiem, ale może być jeszcze wspanialszy, gdy będzie pamiętał o takim drobiazgu jak wydawanie reszty przy rozrachunkach :)

You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. "Właściciele byli bardzo mili i pomocni. Córka właściciela mówi po angielsku. Przyjechaliśmy o 22:00, a zostaliśmy zameldowani dostaliśmy herbatę i porozmawialiśmy z właścicielami. W obiekcie wypożyczyliśmy namiot i maty, które były w bardzo dobrym stanie i zostały z wyprzedzeniem przygotowane na nasz przyjazd. Mieliśmy możliwość zostawienia części bagażu na czas kilkudniowego trekkingu w parku narodowym. Obiekt daje możliwość płatności w USD oraz przy pomocy karty debetowej, co jest dużym ułatwieniem. Smaczne śniadanie (bułki, toster, masło, wędlina, ser, dżem, herbata, kawa) zostało przygotowane bardzo wcześnie, żebyśmy zdążyli zjeść przed pierwszymi autobusem do parku narodowego."

Ściany są cienkie, więc warto mieć zatyczki do uszu.

The air conditioning was quiet noisy. The bed was lumpy.

"Obiekt pięknie położony nad samym jeziorem. Po schodkach można wejść do niego. Poza tym przy obiekcie wszystko co trzeba do odpoczynku nad jeziorem. Bardzo miła obsługa...czekała na nasz przyjazd 🤩 Pokój z widokiem na jezioro i góry...przepięknie🤩 Bardzo smaczne śniadanie - różnorodne!!!"

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.
