"To miejsce jest w nie-hotelowej części wyspy. Tam można zobaczyć taką Arubę, jaka ona jest dla lokalnej ludności (tej niezamożnej większości mieszkańców wyspy). To nie ma nic wspólnego z obrazem Aruby jako miejsca luksusowego wypoczynku dla bogatych turystów. Miejsce prawdziwego życia w karaibskim tyglu i społeczeństwie multi-kulti. Ludzie mili, kontaktowi zawsze gotowi pomóc. Gospodarz tryska pozytywną energią i będzie twoim kumplem od pierwszej chwili. Chętnie opowiada o okolicy i o sobie, o tym tym jak jemu tam się żyje i wszystkich innych urokach bycia na Arubie. Dobre miejsce na wypady na dzikie i skaliste wybrzeże N-E oraz uroczą baby beach."

Sporo dużych psów biegających po ulicach. Czasami trudno ocenić ich intencje ... My spacerowaliśmy kilometrami po okolicy tolerując szczekających towarzyszy bez żadnych niemiłych przygód (ale mnie psy zwykle kochają), natomiast ktoś, kto nie czuje się swobodnie w kontaktach z psami może odczuwać poważny dyskomfort. Jay, jest wspaniałym człowiekiem, ale może być jeszcze wspanialszy, gdy będzie pamiętał o takim drobiazgu jak wydawanie reszty przy rozrachunkach :)

Very hard bed and it was cold during my stay - there was heating in the room but not the bathroom.

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

"Seneng banget menginap di sini. Unitnya sangat strategis kemanapun, staffnya juga ramah dan sigap dalam melayani tamu. Kalau ke malioboro juga bisa berjalan kaki. Nyari spot kuliner juga mudah"

"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

"Było czysto, przyjemnie i działała klimatyzacja :) Do dyspozycji gości jest w pełni wyposażona kuchnia. Gospodarz bardzo pomocny, miły i był z nim sprawny kontakt."

Kto często podróżuje do Afryki doceni to miejsce :)

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Miejsce prowadzi bardzo pomocny, porządny i pracowity gospodarz, który mieszka tam wraz z synem. Pokoje są czyste, a łóżka wygodne. W okolicy wiele lokalnych knajpek z klimatem w których siedzą sami Uzbecy (szczególnie polecam pobliską szaszłykarnie, aczkolwiek zaznaczam, że nie jest to lokal który przypasuje każdemu ). Można poczuć klimat mniej turystycznej i komercyjnej Samarkandy. My wzięliśmy początkowo 3 noclegi, ale tak nam się spodobało że zostaliśmy jeszcze 2 noce. Myślę że warto wspomóc gospodarza w wykończeniu domu, bo na to zasługuje."

Potencjalnym minusem może być fakt że wspólna łazienka znajduje się piętro niżej, aczkolwiek dla nas nie był to problem

"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

"What I liked most was that Mrs Maryanne made me feel at home. She was very willing and attentive to any thing. Also her son's Runy and Jimmy were very kind and helpful to any of my needs.."

The Guesthouse Is set in the middle of the beautiful and lush nature and close to everything and also with a bus stop just across from the property..

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.
