"Hotel mieści się w historycznej budowli, w samym centrum miasta. Trafił nam się pokój, w którym w dużej mierze zachowano dawny, historyczny wygląd typowy dla starych domów. Miało to dla nas niezwykły urok. Jednocześnie pokój był w pełni komfortowy i dobrze wyposażony: wygodne łóżko i poduszki, lodówka oraz miejsce na bagaż. To idealne połączenie historii z nowoczesną wygodą. Taras na dachu budynku z przepięknym widokiem na panoramę miasta, imponujący Nizwa Fort, a także na góry i palmy w oddali. Widok, szczególnie o zachodzie słońca, robi ogromne wrażenie. Personel – bardzo profesjonalny, pomocny i życzliwy."

Jedyną rzeczą, której nam brakowało w pokoju, były siedziska. Wystarczyłoby chociaż jedno dodatkowe krzesło. Dla nas nie stanowiło to problemu, ale warto wiedzieć, że nie można podjechać samochodem bezpośrednio pod hotel – trzeba przejść około 8 minut pieszo z pobliskiego parkingu.

"The hotel manager went above and beyond to make it the perfect holiday for us. We also got engaged whilst on holiday and the room was decorated upon our return back to the hotel."

"Yöpaikaksi sopiva, hivenen karu mutta mukavasti vanhentunut majoitusrakennus oli siisti ja siellä oli kaikki tarvittava. Sopivasti sivussa hälinästä, oli rauhallista ja pysäköintitilaa oli riittävästi."

Se oikeastaan saatiin mitä tilattiin. Ainoa mutka matkassa oli lukittu ulko-ovi mutta tekstiviestillä saatiin ohjeet nopeasti.

You cannot walk to the beach. Taxis are expensive.

"I had a really lovely stay at this hotel! The property is welcoming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is excellent: easy to get around, close to the main points of interest, and well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."

"Well, totally different experience from Riga! This place is AWESOME as the staff. The lady who hosted us did a great and PERFECT job. We place is very well located, alogside the road, close to supermarkets and the castle ruins. The city centre can be acessed by a footpath uphill from the hotel on a pleasant walk. Bedrooms alright, very clean and organized with no problems at all. We liked so much, that we spent more time that we intended on the next city in a Wine Festival in Sabile that we decided to go back and stay one more night and with only 10 Euros more, they gave us an apartment with living room and kitchen. I wuosl easily go back and refer here. One of the best places on the trip! The city is not big and have not that much to visit but satying here, made everything much better and pleasant! And parking is right besides the hotel as well with plenty space and easy to use and access!"

"Location is at walking distance from many points of interest. Room has a little kitchen with stove and small refrigerator. There is no Coffee maker though. Room has A/C, hot water, TV with Netflix. It is a good choice for the price and it is comfortable. It is also very quiet."

It said had parking included but you need to park on the street or pay a parking lot. Besides the guy that received us for the check-in never saw anyone else in the front desk during our stay to ask questions or guide us on anything. Other than that the place is good to stay and will definitely go back

"I felt at home from the very first moment at Tara Guest House. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to organize all my trips both around town and further afield. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help with anything. It also meant a lot to know that the funds from the guest house support a school for the local community. I would 100% recommend staying here."

"I had a comfortable night here. The accommodation had a nice open-air eating area with a bar. The staff were kind and helpful. It is very conveniently located for the lakeside and ferry terminal."
