Feynan wild camp

"We had a warm welcome thanks to MG. The food was delicious and we got offered a bed to sleep outside under the stars, which was comfortable and not too cold. We expected a basic camp but actually there was a clean bathroom where you can take a shower and go to the toilet."

"The location felt very remote and wild, beautiful views of the sunset and mountains. Host showed amazing hospitality and made us feel very welcome. Very tasty food for dinner and breakfast the next day and packed lunch provided for hiking. Lots of drinking water provided too. Facilities basic as was expected, but clean."

"This place is crazy. But honestly one of the best experiences I had in Jordan. Got a little lost trying to locate it after a long hike, but managed to find it ok! Hosts were super lovely and accommodating, with lovely home cooked food. The camp is really basic, but has clean toilets and showers and everything you need, but it is a wild camp, so don’t expect much. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight and absolutely surreal. If you decide to stay here (which you should), definitely just lean into the experience. It’ll be worth it."

"The location is unique and like nothing ever experienced. The hosts Mohammed and Faoras were extremely helpful, kind and caring for us as a family. They came collecting us by the end of the trail so our little ones (and adults) didn't have to walk the remaining 5 km through the Feynan valley - completely unexpected but so appreciated by us all. The food is the best we have had so far in Jordan - Grown in the area and full of taste and love. All in all an amazing experience for us that we will never forget. We hope to get the possibility of returning."

"The location of the camp is beautiful, it is very quiet and calm. We hiked from Dana via de Wadi Dana trail and stayed one night in the Feynan Wild Camp. The next day we hiked the Wadi Ghuweir trail. The Wild Camp was the ideal place for us to stay. The camp is very basic but you have everything you need. Mohammad invited us to have dinner with his family during the Ramadan, they welcomed us warmly and the food was great. We had a very good experience :)"

"A really Special location at the end of Dana Valley. You can Walk down from Dana valley in one day, stay one night there and either walk back the same way the next day or do Wadi Ghuweir and get a transport back to Dana. The dinner was very good with candle light, they have showers and toilets and you can either sleep outside with your bed under the stars or in small huts. Less expensive than Feynan Ecolodge and a Special experience."
