Villa Tombo Hakone

"The house is amazing, with excellent kitchen facilities (although some a little too complicated for us!), private Onsen bath and beautiful living areas. This is probably the nicest house I have ever stayed in with very modern facilities. It was convenient to order the dinner, which we needed to cook ourselves, as there wasn’t anywhere nearby to have dinner. There was so much delicious food for the three dinners that we ordered, that we unfortunately had to leave an entire meal uncooked in the fridge/freezer."

"The only inconvenience was being unable to forward our luggage. If there was a way around this it would make the stay just that little bit better. There was a very loud alarm going off a couple of times, it was unclear why and we had no method of turning it off other than just waiting it out. Fortunately it did not continue throughout the night."

"Beautiful villa with a lot of space and a great living room area. The bath was lovely as well. Very comfortable sleep. The dinner was delicious and exactly what we wanted!"

"施設に関しては何の不満もありませんが、チェックインや事前登録等が絶妙にめんどくさい。今の時代仕方ないのかもしれませんが、着いてすぐ部屋を見たりのんびりしたいところでチェックインのタブレット登録や動画撮影はめんどくさかった。あと、ホテル側は何も悪くないのですが、東京方面から車で来るとなるとどうしても箱根湯本駅を通る必要があり、行き帰り共にめちゃくちゃ混む。"

"It was an amazing villa for friends to stay at. A private onsen, heated floors, a couch to hang out on, an outside area to chill on and look at the night sky, a water cooler (and heater!), even an elevator and a urinal (this sounds silly until you realize you finally don't have to sit down to pee like you've been doing for years in a relationship)."

"The dryer was a little slow for my American sensibilities, despite being superior to most dryers I've dealt with in Japan. It was a rainy day so washing clothes for the group was difficult"

"The property far exceeded my expectations and was even better than what I was expecting. The host was also very responsive and helpful! I would 100% stay here again if the opportunity presented itself."
