"We had a great stay at the golden dragon, and the personnel is super friendly. We got an upgrade, they helped us with taxi's and other services. And they even helped us two days after checking out, when we left our wallet at the hotel and they got it back to us. Great service!"

"Really large rooms, comfortable bed. Nice pool area with good draft beer. Breakfast had a good selection. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially when the airline lost my partners bag. The Thai massage in the spa was fantástic. The Korean bbq restaurant was great."

"I wouldn’t recommend having dinner in the European restaurant (inside the hotel), we had the salmon salad and it was pretty poor, and zero atmosphere. The spa was unfortunately closed for the first 2 days of our stay but did reopen the day we left and I was able to have a massage before we left. Location is a little far from centre - 40 min walk but feels safe."

"Just minor details. I could find some spots and hair in the bed linnen. Getting extra bottles of water in the room didn't seem a possibility except for ordering expensive water at the bar. Water is free in the lobby though."

"I was in a separate building which is no biggie but the entrance etc was a bit tired. Breakfast isn't worth getting up for and the space needs more tables or at least for solo/two people. Couldn't get a seat"

"The bedroom decor looks awful and cheap. The rooms need more colour. Doing this could give a more premium feel. There is no gym despite booking.com saying there was one. The pool area was nice but there are no cushions or mattress for the sunbeds meaning it’s uncomfortable to relax there and there was loud music playing"

"The staff is very helpful, English speaking friendly. The room is super spacious and very quiet. It was cleaned daily. The spa is amazing and the service was top tier. The swimming pool is big and not crowded at all. The reservation for the airport transfer and spa was so smooth and easy."

"This hotel really surpassed my expectations. It's a funny collection of buildings that don't look much from the outside, but has been completely modernised inside. I had a great room and good use of all the on-site facilities. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. Found me a more suitable room, airport taxi, etc. Great value for money IMO, as I couldn't have had a better stay at some of the more reputable hotels"
