Hosts made excellent recommendations for trips and were happy to help with arranging transport when required. They organised circus tickets for us which is a ‘must-do’ not only for the acrobats and actors but for the music too which is live and excellent."

"I stayed for 4 nights at The Purple House in Siem Reap. From the time I arrived until my departure I was treated by my hosts like one of the family. The location is a few kilometers away from the city centre but an easy tuk tuk or bicycle ride away from city centre and the Angkor Wat temple. "After a few days in very busy Phnom Penh it was lovely to be in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Khemrak and family made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed a fun and informative evening out in Siem Reap with them as well as a delicious and plentiful breakfast. The room was clean and spacious with private bathroom, air conditioning and fans, fridge, kettle etc.. We enjoyed walking in the local area (also walkable to the Apopo Hero Rats visitor centre – highly recommend) and Khemrak called tuk tuks to pick us up whenever we needed one and arranged our transfer to the airport. Whilst we were kept busy visiting the incredible Ankor Wat, exploring Siem Reap and other attractions, we also enjoyed unwinding at Purple House and discovering more about Khmer and Cambodian history, traditions and people.
