"This is the hotel we always use when visiting Beirut, as their excellent free transfer service gets us out of the messy airport in no time (they are the only hotel with a booth there, just before the arrivals hall, where you are met). The rooms are large and comfy enough, but for some reason they don't make use of the good sea views at the rear of the building. We skip breakfast, as there is a great bakery a little further down the street with very good breakfast snacks. You can walk the seaside corniche from here, or it's a short and cheap taxi ride to the city centre sights."
