"Beautiful homestay with a friendly family. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The thick blankets and large bed were perfect. Breakfast was great. All in all, a very lovely stay."

"A very nice helpful couple own this great homestay.The room is large well furnished with kettle and a fridge spotlessly clean and very comfortable.Only a nice 10 min walk into the centre.Breakfast was excellent and plentiful highly reccomended"

"The family was super sweet and the room is big and clean. Good value for money. It is far from the main street, which makes it quiet. Nice bird sounds in the morning ;) They even have a air dryer which was really appreciated"

"Really lovely home stay. Great huge room and bathroom with a really lovely hot powerful shower, which you need as can be chilly. Lovely big comfy bed with warm blankets. The room and bathroom were spotless clean. I would highly recommend and the location was fantastic for us."

"I was very pleased with my stay at Jaye Homestay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The climate in Ella can be cool at night, so I appreciated the warm shower and cosy blanket that was provided. The bed had a mosquito net and I slept very well each night. The property is well located, with easy access to the town, Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge either by foot or tuc-tuc. There are some steep hills to walk up and down to get to and from Jaye Homestay, which is to be expected when in the mountains. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Very nice owners, helpful and sweet. Clean room, like reeeally clean. Quiet, close to the centre. No view, but you don't really need it if you out all day walking. Overall very happy with the property."

"Incredibly clean, very comfy bed and great breakfast. The host family were lovely and very helpful. Unlike some other homestays, I appreciated that there was no pressure to organize extra activities through them. We even saw fireflies in the lane on the walk back to the house every night!"

"We liked that the homestay was a bit away from the noisy, busy main road but if you hate walking and/or hills it might be worth being closer to the main street!"

"My hosts were so nice, providing a large clean room, a big bed, soft warm blankets, mosquito net. The shower was great - plenty of hot water."

"For some the steep walk to house may not suit. No noise soundproofing-could hear late night & early 6am noise from family members. Bring ear plugs ! Go to bed early and then noises of children no issue!"
