Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Przemiła obsługa. Lokalizacja w pięknym starym mieście. Kot z dzwoneczkiem przesympatyczny. Pyszne śniadanie zrobione [przez właścicielkę. Pokój w urokliwym miejscu. "W pokojach z łazienką jest dobry prysznic i podgrzewane koce, polecam dopłacić za ten pokój zamiast brać tańszy i dodatkowo płacić za prysznic (bo ten na korytarzy ma gorszy standard, słabe ciśnienie wody). Jest opcja prania w pralce za opłatą. Bardzo smaczne jedzenie, duży wybór, świeżo i czysto."

Cold water shower (was fine for body but just cold for washing hair!), the vents in wall allowed a lot of smoke in which made me quite coughy but wasn’t a big issue

"Super obiekt, bezpieczny, zamykany na noc. Dużo zieleni. Klimatyczny, dużo ciekawych rzeźb. Pokoje sporych rozmiarów z łazienkami. W pokoju nr 1 , który był do mojej dyspozycji była lodówka, czajnik do wody. Dwa łóżka, mogłyby spać 3 osoby. Można korzystać z kuchni. Jest też basen nieduży, ale spokojnie można w nim popływać, woda zimna. Dobre śniadanie płatne dodatkowo 5 USD."

Do śniadania przydałoby się coś zielonego lub czerwonego, kawałek sałaty , pomidora.

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"Quiet, green, uncomformist to the Italian onslaught in the rest of Watamu, wel kept, and very kind personel. Plus great breakfast."

The fans could use an update.

"The team was very helpfull and wie had evry nice diners. It's a very cozy and familiar place."

Super, gdyby w pokoju był jeszcze czajnik i kubki.

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

"The place is so nice. Restaurant is great & so are the rooms. The food was so good & the chef came out to tell us about the dishes, lovely!"

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."
