"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"Owners very very friendly and helpful . Right next to the path around the lake (use sunscreen if you are going to walk it . 5 hours needed. )Exceptional Value..Owner picked us up from airport and then transferred us to next destination. Highly recommended"

"The room was comfortable, there was a microwave, electric heating and a kettle so we could make our own food. We needed batteries for the air condition (it was cold), they delivered very fast. Thanks!"

Cold water shower (was fine for body but just cold for washing hair!), the vents in wall allowed a lot of smoke in which made me quite coughy but wasn’t a big issue

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"W pokojach z łazienką jest dobry prysznic i podgrzewane koce, polecam dopłacić za ten pokój zamiast brać tańszy i dodatkowo płacić za prysznic (bo ten na korytarzy ma gorszy standard, słabe ciśnienie wody). Jest opcja prania w pralce za opłatą. Bardzo smaczne jedzenie, duży wybór, świeżo i czysto."

"Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"The accommodation was situated so close to Voh and it was so well equipped and cute"

"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

Jeśli ktoś lubi spać długo to obok jest budowa i słychać prace budowlane. Nam to nie przeszkadzało

"Super obiekt, bezpieczny, zamykany na noc. Dużo zieleni. Klimatyczny, dużo ciekawych rzeźb. Pokoje sporych rozmiarów z łazienkami. W pokoju nr 1 , który był do mojej dyspozycji była lodówka, czajnik do wody. Dwa łóżka, mogłyby spać 3 osoby. Można korzystać z kuchni. Jest też basen nieduży, ale spokojnie można w nim popływać, woda zimna. Dobre śniadanie płatne dodatkowo 5 USD."

Do śniadania przydałoby się coś zielonego lub czerwonego, kawałek sałaty , pomidora.
