"Wspaniale położenie , na plaży , spokój , cisza , mało ludzi , klimat kolonialny lekko vintage, daleki od turystycznej komercji. Plaża piękna , szeroka , praktycznie pusta , widać delfiny. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny . Idealne miejsce na odpoczynek ."

Trochę uciążliwe były komary wieczorem

"To był mój drugi pobyt w tym obiekcie i nadal uważam, że to świetna opcja! Cena bardzo przystępna w porównaniu z innymi obiektami. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja! Dojazd w każdą część wyspy bezpośrednio lub z jedną przesiadką autobusem. Pani właścicielka bardzo miła, pozwoliła zostawić swój bagaż po wymeldowaniu."

Nie było informacji o dostaniu się do obiektu. Dopiero po skontaktowaniu się telefonicznie z właścicielką dostałam instrukcje jak mogę sama dostać się do pokoju, co oczywiście nie jest problemem, ale byłoby super, gdyby ta informacja była wcześniej.

"Przepyszne jedzenie, zawsze z fantastycznym widokiem. Pokoje czyste. Wspaniała obsługa, Lolita jest niesamowita, pomogła nam we wszystkim, jest bardzo miłą, cierpliwą i pracowitą osobą. Wprowadza ciepłą atmosferę od pierwszego dnia pobytu. Mają 2 przyjazne psy i kotka, uwielbiałam spędzać tam wolne chwile Chętnie zatrzymam się ponownie"

"The tents with en-suite were great, really generous size and fantastic Mountain View’s"

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"The accommodation is in a great location, just a few meters from the ocan and the centre - cafés, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, and we also made use of the hotel’s pool, which was a nice bonus."

As for the negatives, the first thing that surprised us was the arrival - when we got there in later afternoon, the night guard simply waved his hand to indicate where our room was, without giving us any further information. Unfortunately, the staff in general were not very friendly or welcoming. I should also mention that payment was accepted only in cash, which was quite surprising since we had no issues paying by card anywhere else in El Salvador. Overall, I would probably come back again.

"Mając porównanie do innych miejsc w Bułgarii, to było prawdziwą perłą 💙 Turysta czuje się tutaj naprawdę zaopiekowany. Wlasciciel jak i cały personel byli tacy przyjaźni i sympatyczni. Pokoje świetnie wyposażone i czyste. Cały hotel naprawdę robi wrażenie. Przemyślane i zadbane miejsce. Śniadania, jak i inne posiłki wyśmienite, duży wybór, ceny bardzo przystępne. Polecamy bardzo bardzo to miejsce. Będziemy je długo wspominać !"

"The people who run the Lodge are absolutely lovely. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were very well cooked and tasty."

I found the bed a little uncomfortable and i would prefer 2 pillows per person. The driveway is steep...a little intimidating for us Europeans! But we had a 4 wheel drive so we were fine.

Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

"To typowe schronisko z bardzo miłą atmosferą. Wszystko zgodnie z opisem, personel bardzo pomocny. Jak się okazało też polskojęzyczny. Dostęp do kawy i herbaty cały czas. Nie korzystaliśmy z opcji wykupienia posiłku, ale śniadanie wyglądało bardzo smacznie. Łazienki wspólne, ale nie było dużej kolejki, mimo wielu osób w obiekcie. Pokój ładny i czysty. No i ciepłe źródełka obok budynku. Nawet we mgle, gdzie prawie niczego nie było widać, stanowią świetną opcje relaksu."

Trochę brakowało półeczek - bagaże dla pięciu osób trudno było sensownie rozłożyć.

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

Nothing - I do not have a bad word to say about Long Lee. It exceeded our expectations and more.

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."
