Located in Sesriem, in Namib Desert, Desert Camp offers luxurious self-catering units, with private bathrooms. Only 5 km away from Sossusvlei Lodge, it features an outdoor pool. Desert Camp’s units have a private entrance and a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a refrigerator. All rooms are decorated with the colours of the Namib Desert and have power points for hairdryers and shavers. Guests can prepare their own meals or use the Camp's BBQ facility. The large bar area has a TV for news and sports. Meals are available at a surcharge at Sossusvlei Lodge, withing 5 km of Desert Camp. The Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre provides various planned activities, including hot air balloon flights, bird watching, and desert flights. Packed lunches are also available.

"Wspaniały hotel z wyjątkową obsługą która stara się abyś był zadowolony. Śniadania bardzo dobre zawsze coś dla siebie znajdziesz. Polecamy hotel podróżując po pięknej Namibii. Byliśmy na safari w parku Etosha oraz na zachód słońca z naszym przewodnikiem EDWARDEM, który rzetelnie i profesjonalnie opowiadał o wszystkim - bardzo polecamy."

Duży i czysty basen, bogata oferta drinków i win w barze. Jedzenie wyśmienite, polecam wykupienie min. śniadania i kolacji. Co się jednak najbardziej wyróżnia w tym obiekcie to profesjonalna obsługa. W żadnym innym odwiedzonym miejscu w Namibii obsługa nie była na tak wysokim poziomie. Rozpoczynając od guest relations managerów którzy dbają o gości na każdym kroku, poprzez kelnerów i kucharzy, personel sprzątający, kończąc na przewodnikach. Chcieliśmy podziękować i serdecznie polecić game drive z Emmą, dzięki krótej nasza przygoda w Etoshy była niezapomniana. Emma udzieliła nam mnóstwo informacji na temat gatunków zwięrząt w Etoshy i wspólnie z nami podziwiała napotkane zwierzęta."

"We very much enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable spacious rooms with your own terrace and also a great roof terrace with fantastic views, (there is a bed on the terrace which they will make up for you if you want to sleep there). The parking is right by your door. There is a lovely pool area to relax by after climbing 'Big Daddy" sand dune! It takes around 45 minutes from here to get to the main entrance of the National Park. The staff are first class whilst the food was very good with buffet style one night and a la carte on the other. Thank you to the chefs for providing very good gluten free food. We also very much enjoyed the scorpion and star gazing walk. There are lots of warthogs around the hotel, make sure you are there for their feeding late afternoon. We would happily return."
