Also there was a fan and an AC. The location is good as there's a supermarket not far away and also the Qaboos Grand Mosque is just in a 30mins walk"

"We spent a day and night in this camp deep in the desert, sleeping in cozy tents. Far away from the city, we were able to watch a breathtaking starry sky. The temperatures were very hot at the end of May, but we had the whole camp to ourselves. It belongs to Bedouins who love their camels and try to familiarize guests with their culture and traditions. That's why we couldn't resist taking a camel ride at sunrise. Fresh Omani coffee and dates were served at the top of a dune. If you want to spend an authentic time in the desert surrounded by camels and Bedouins, who gave us a friendly welcome, this is the place for you. The food was also wonderful. Absolutely recommendable! Thanks for the beautiful time there!"

"We wanted something very simple for the desert and we aced our choice! The camp is wonderful - just three tents in the middle of the dunes, with open bathroom to shower under the moon and stars. Ahmed and his brother provided us tea, dates, a delicious dinner and breakfast. Besides, they saved ur car from the sand. That was the night I best slept in Oman. Waking in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and listening to absolutely NOTHING was an unforgettable experience. Ahmed also arranged a quad tour for us."
