Bambuda Castle is a hostel located in Boquete, a small town in Panamas coffee region. The property features a bar and a hot tub. The hostel has both dorms and private rooms that all include linen and safety boxes. The private rooms have both a private entrance and a private bathroom. There is a terrace that overlooks the Volcan Baru, the highest mountain in Panama. At Bambuda Castle you can book all of your tours and transportation. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings. Boquete has some of the worlds best coffee plantation and is the perfect place for all outdoor activities including hiking, zip lining and river rafting.

"Przyjemne miejsce, dobre na krótki jak i dłuższy pobyt. Piękny widok z tarasu na wulkan Barú. Położenie hotelu jest zarówno plusem jak i minusem - widok piękny ale hotel jest dość daleko od centrum miasteczka. Na plus - bardzo pomocny, uprzejmy i cierpliwy personel, z dobrą znajomością angielskiego. Na minus - płatne ręczniki (przy tej cenie za pokój) oraz wysoka cena śniadań 8 usd (chociaż były bardzo dobre). Mieszane uczucia co do czystości. Chociaż pomieszczenia wspólne były generalnie czyste, to dużym minusem były: 1. brudna półka (wnęka na rzeczy) przy moim łóżku - znalazłam tam nawet czyjś obcięty paznokieć 2. oraz brudne i mocno zakurzone szafki w dormitoriach - zdaje się,że sprzątanie pokoju nie obejmuje ścierania kurzu/piachu z szafek, 3. niektóre szafki na tzw. cenne rzeczy były uszkodzone. Warto mieć swoją kłódkę."

"It’s 1 hour walk far from the town, so you’re kind of trapped in there. A full breakfast is between 10 to 12 USD. When I arrived was a Saturday night and there was a party going on with people that weren’t guests of the place. Music went on until 1am and was so loud that the dorm door was shaking. People were going up and down in front of the door cause the toilet was just beside my room. Not a good first night at all. If you’re in holiday and want to have fun and don’t mind about how expensive could be it’s perfect, if you’re traveling on a budget I would think about"

"Was more than I expected for a hostel room. You have the experience of a hostel with the comfort of a really nice hotel. The food and coffee is delicious, staff are very helpful and lovely. And it’s very clean."

"La isla es preciosa y la comida (incluida en el precio) riquísima. Tienes que saber a dónde vas, no hay grandes comodidades, no hay electricidad durante todo el día y la comida varía poco entre pescado y pollo, aún así duermes en el paraíso, la cama es cómoda y todo está limpio. Puedes contratar con ellos el transfer desde Ciudad de Panamá. El precio incluye desayuno, comida y cena y una excursión por las islas de al rededor durante un día. Tienes opción de pagar un poco más y tener cabaña con suelo de madera y baño privado."
"This is sunning on the beach as it should be, a lot less of the traditional 'comfort' you would find on a more commercial resort. The custodians (native people) look after you, but also stay out of your way. Communication with the custodians on the island is limited if like myself you only speak English, however all communication with the travel agency was consistent and prompt. You have to be prepared for a more basic way of living, which is just what I was hoping to gain out of it. The islands truly are worth a visit and one of the most magical places I've been on this planet. My booking experience was smooth with no issues despite me booking two days prior to the trip."
"Es sind nur 2 Häuser auf der Insel und die meisten Tages Touristen sind auf der Rückseite in einem „eigenen“ Bereich, daher ist es wundervoll entspannend. Die Einheimischen hier sind sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ist sehr lecker und ausreichend- vor allem das Frühstück! Auf anderen Inseln ist es oft eher Massenabfertigung beim Essen."
"Highly recommended! It took us a while to find the right boat. We almost booked a smaller boat for basically the same price but look no further, Renaissance is a beautiful well kept boat and much bigger than the average and very spacious inside. We spent a few nights on board Renaissance and I have to say I did not expect that high level of service. From the moment we stepped on board we felt like home. A wonderful family dynamic. Captain Morgan is very professional and we felt safe at all times. He took us to the most beautiful islands and incredible snorkeling spots. Petra's cooking was just extraordinary. The flavors and the presentation were spectacular. The kids were very lovely and polite and they helped us as guides on the islands since we don't speak spanish, it seems like they know all the locals which we found adorable. /Pierre"
