"If ur there to see Hebron for the current situation. This place is perfect for that. A dorm bed which is in a great location, GPS is exact in the markets but the locals will help u find it if u have any issues. The tour arranged through the hostel is very good and very emotionally powerful, u'll see and meet Palestinians right on the settlement boundary and hear first hand their daily life issues. My guide, Basheer, was amazing, we ended up going out for dinner, shisha and chess afterwards. If u want to see Hebron and feel safe, this is how to do it. All the Palestinian locals will go out of their way to make u feel safe. Everyone there wasn't tourists to come back and wants them to feel as happy and safe as they can. Take the jump, do it..."

"1 - Thinner pillows, seem odd but they are huge 2 - it's good, but a better USB charging setup would help. 3 - bag lockers, security is just not an issue at all but it's peace of mind. 4 - make it more clear how amazing the tours are, aka booking websites etc when booking accommodation."

"Amazing place! When the name says it all! I was met and treated like an actual friend. The place is clean, safe and centrally located in the middle of Old town in Hebron. Bilal is such a great person and amazing host who really cares not only about your comfort but also makes you feel like you are a family member or a very good friend. "Friends Hostel was a great place to stay! This was my first time staying at a hostel so I didn't know what to expect. Due to the war and the uncertainties in the area, many hotels and BNBs are closed so I decided to check out Friends Hostel. Glad I did! Bilal was an awesome host! Very attentive and ensured everything was taken care of. He even offered to be my guide in Al Khalil / Hebron. He provided the history as well as the unfortunate changes within the Old City that had taken place since the war. The location is great as it sits in the middle of a busy daily open air market. There were a couple of other guests who were there - very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I was fortunate to have my own room which was very clean and quiet. There is a kitchen and a washer if you need it but I didn't use them as I ate out to help the local economy. I felt very safe in the area and will have no issues returning for a longer stay."

"Location is great, right in the millenary old city. For those interested in understanding the division of the town, it's close to the Bab Al Zawiya checkpoint, the most important one. If you'd like to meet young Palestinians, friendly locals like to stop by and talk about the situation."
