Offering modern accommodation with bright bedspreads and colourful walls, this hostel is centrally situated in Aveiro, 1 km from the train station. There is a communal kitchen and free WiFi in the downstairs common area. With parquet floors, all rooms at Aveiro Rossio have large windows. Guests can stay in private rooms with either shared or private bathroom facilities, or choose a shared dormitory. A large Portuguese breakfast is served each morning in Rossio’s spacious dining area. Guests can prepare their own meals in the kitchen, and BBQ facilities are available in the garden. Rossio’s lounge room offers a friendly setting for a game of chess. "Great stay in a perfect central location near the canals and main sights. The staff were very friendly, the hostel was clean, and breakfast was a nice bonus. Bathrooms can get a bit busy, but overall it’s excellent value and I’d definitely stay again."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
