"Great location on the Fishermen's Trail and easy access to the village centre. Good sized room with ensuite and balcony. Breakfast included."
"Faded grandeur, facilities could do with modernising. Over-priced compared to other accommodation on the Fishermen's Trail. Probably because the choice is limited. Not directly within owner's control, but some very loud dogs having a barking competition in the neighbouring properties was rather tiresome and went on for about 30 minutes."

The other reviews are accurate in the following: ladies were really nice but didn't speak much english, they accomodated us in a different house than written in the booking which wasn't a problem. When we checked the room we found out the bedding was really damp - I guess from the moisture in the air. Even though it is written in the booking there wasn't any heating so we asked the host and we got offeres a room with a balcony instead which was perfect. Breakfast was homemade and really nice."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
