Surrounded by nature and views of the Algarve coast, Monchique Resort & Salon Piękności is situated in the Serra de Monchique and features restaurants, 2 outdoor pools and a variety of Spa experiences. The resort features a programme of activities that guests may enjoy for free. The resort’s luxurious suites are elegant and beautifully appointed, offering a separate bedroom, large living room, two bathrooms and a balcony or terrace with outdoor furniture and some with stunning views over the mountains and coastline. Free of charge WiFi is available in all areas. Each of the restaurants at the Monchique Resort & Salon Piękności offers a unique gastronomic experience. From award-winning fine dining through Neapolitan pizzeria and themed international and national buffet. The Mezzanine cocktail bar often has live entertainment (during high season) and the bars serve a variety of drinks and light snacks. The Sensorial Centrum Odprężenia features sauna, steam room, aromatherapy, an indoor heated pool (25€ per 2 hours for adult - children under 16 years old are not allowed) relaxation rooms, treatment rooms, we recommend to book it prior arrival directly with the Strefa Relaksu Team. 24-hour open Gym. Personalised training sessions can be booked, for a surcharge. Children between 5 and 12 years old are welcome at the on-site Kids Club available every day (during high season). Guests may book activities like jeep safaris, hiking, stand-up paddle and mountain biking with an additional fee. The hostel is a 60-minute drive from Faro International Airport. It is only a 20-minute drive away from several beaches in the Portimão area, and a 15-minute drive away from the nearest golf course.

I made use of the timetable of activities including local walks and classes and the kids club Spa and treatments were amazing, would definitely recommend the spa circuit for €25 Staff were wonderful Christmas was low key and relaxing and they put on a great night for New Year so we may return for that next year."
"We stayed 8 nights so the room started to get a little dusty towards the end of our stay. I have asthma so maybe noticed more than some might. A few maintenance jobs were needed around the hotel but it was due to close for end of season and it wouldn’t put us off returning. The room was lovely and the bed huge but I found it uncomfortable and the pillows very lumpy!"

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
