This refurbished 1600s farmhouse is situated on Tjörn Island, 18 km from Stenungsund. It provides free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped shared kitchen and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Lekanders Bär & Boende has been owned by the same family for 9 generations. Each room has a bathroom with a shower. Some feature a private patio. A breakfast buffet is served daily. In summer, guests can grill in the garden. Strawberries, black currant and raspberries are grown on site. Bär & Boende’s common room features a TV, newspapers and dart facilities. "Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
