"Lovely place! Excellent location very close to the beach. From the roof terrace you can hear the waves. Free tea, sodas and some snacks and fresh fruits were offered. Nice common indoors and outdoors area where you can relax. Very friendly owners who made me feel at home. Comfortable room with good hot shower. Would highly recommend!"

"Very local, very surf. Great mosquito nets on the windows. Great balcony to see the sun rise. Right in front of the best spot in town to surf. Cheap surf rentals - plenty to choose from. Staff / Owners are always impeccable - I remember asking for recommendations and in seconds I got messages in my phone with places to dine out. I couldn’t sleep because of my jet leg and it was good to have a surfboard available to catch some waves at 5 am when it was still cool weather. I also got free waters and snacks - unlimited which was crazy good. You can see the effort and the hospitality of the Taiwanese people for sure. I got breakfast made for me and it was delicious. Beds are very comfortable. Tv in the room good size and showers are perfect."

"Rooms need more ventilation as it smelled a bit mouldy at the begging. I did open the windows and that smell went away quickly. My advice is to open the windows after the guest checks out which will give time for the room to dry. I honestly think that this is something to do with most Taiwanese buildings as I’ve experienced it in other properties too."

"The owners are really nice to interact with. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable and pleasant stay. We rented surf boards and wet suits here, too, and all were great quality. It's super close to a really neat surfing community. Liked it so much we stayed an extra night. The hosts also offer perks like free drinks and snacks to make your stay a bit more comfortable."

"The owners of the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They provided breakfast and coffee each morning and I rented a surfboard and wetsuit each day. The hostel is across the street from a path to the beach, so surfing was very convenient. My room was clean and had some interesting art on the walls. The bed was comfortable and since I was the only person staying it was very quiet."

"My room only had very small high windows that were frosted and faced a temple parking lot. Other rooms had larger windows that faced trees, which would have been nicer. There are some restaurants nearby, but they're mostly for foreigners (pizza, beer). I ended up going into Toucheng and Jiaoxi for meals at local places. It's a ~15 minute walk to the train station."
