The beach front rooms all have decks overlooking the ocean. Guests can enjoy various activities in the area, including fishing, surfing ,swimming, whale watching, and surf lessons. Top game reserves are an hour drive away and Fountains Mall is a 10-minute drive away. The Seal point light house and penguin rescue area can be reached within 30 minutes by car.

"The owners were fantastic! They upgraded our room with no charge as they said it was better suited to us and also with a nicer view! They were so good at recommending where to eat and what to do during our stay! We only had one night so we were very very sad when leaving! There photos online are good but they do not do the view of the ocean from the bed any justice 10 times nicer in real life!"

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."

The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, (the bathroom is amazing!) The property is located on a farm, with lovely orchards and a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed. It’s about 15 minutes from MQP airport; since we planned to leave very early, the host kindly packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it in our room before departing."
