"Good stay with “all the Amenities”. Lovely view from our 4th floor room overlooking the pool to the beach. Good location and heated pool. Long walk along the promenade possible. Enjoyed a Durban Curry for dinner in the hotel. Friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel."
"On checking in, noticed that toilette didn't flush properly, however someone was sent to the room immediately. Worked afterwards but then noticed water dripping from the back of the toilette which we mentioned on checking out (maintenance always seem to be minimal in South Africa!!)"

"Fantastic location on the coastline with a view from our room of the Umhlanga Rocks Lighthouse. Set in an ultra modern suburb with shops and restaurants aplenty. Breakfast was special and very enjoyable."
"The hotel itself is opulently set up but the fittings and windows in the bedroom are a bit dated. This did not however take from the overall stay."

Although the facilities are becoming a bit dated (but still definitely clean and comfortable), the service and overall experience makes up for it. Food quality was top notch. Having a spa treatment with the waves in the background was an added benefit!"
