"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

Located a little bit outside the center of Jose Ignacio, we appreciated the calm of this area Excellent breakfast outside in front of the beautiful swimming pool. "I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"

"We had the best time of our trip here! Finally some connecting with other travellers during a group dinner. The hosts are super sweet and make you feel like at home. The rooms and beds are superb and the view is incredible. Definitely recommend!"

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"
