"The hosts were very friendly and sincere in their service to their guests. The breakfast and dinner were good. We tried their apple cider tasting board and I really enjoyed it. We had bonfire after dinner and the children enjoyed gathering dried grasses to add to the fire. The owner even brought us to their mushroom farm and showed the operation of the farm, which we were very impressed. Hope to visit Cider Barn &more again, maybe in another season."

It was quite a challenge driving in the dark to the accommodation. It’s better to reach there before sunset.

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

The room was a little cold in the winter.

"Jovan is located by the river, and you can feel totally immersed in nature. The house even has swings outside and a volleyball net! We were given bikes to use and a big outdoor cooker and table. The house is really set up for use to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible, and our host even offered to take us fishing if we wanted. Inside, the house is clean and comfortable and very large for what we paid. We also loved the log burner! Overall we loved staying at Jovan and the kindness of our hosts."

There was no oil to use for cooking but that is all

"Great location, spacious flat with big bed. Location is great, we could walk to different locations and short drive to Santa Elena and Cloud Forest."

Unfortunately two scorpions got into the flat and we were not sure how. Fridge leaked water. Other than this the flat is really good.

"Welcoming host, great dinner and breakfast prepared by the family that hosted us. Good position for our trip in between Nizwa and Wahiba Sands."

A bit difficult to find, the fridge didn't work.

"We had the most wonderful experience at Farm Al Medfek From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine sense of peace. It is the perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The host was so helpful and very accomodating."

"Cudowne,spokojne miejsce,z salą od zgiełku miast. Można się tu poczuć jak u rodziny. Gospodarz jest bardzo miłym🥳pomocnym człowiekiem jego żona również. Domek czysty,funkcjonalny. Duży taras,miejsce do grillowania jest też przygotowane drewno do grilla. Sporych rozmiarów basen, huśtawka, leżaki. Można również skorzystać z jazdy konnej. Bardzo bezpieczna okolica. Wnętrze domu w dużej ilości drewna,masa ozdób ręcznych z drewna. Świetny zlew w łazience.fantastyczny,zadaszony taras ze stołem i ławami oraz stolik i wiklinowe fotele"

"It's a lovely big property in a remote location, although the rooms we stayed in were old it's perfectly comfortable we joined for dinner which was a lamb asado and it was very nice, I'd suggest checking the price of a bottle of wine before you order as we ended up with one more expensive than we thought!. The breakfast was fairly basic but fine for us. It is quite expensive but for what it is, but it's also remote and there's really no other options unless you go to Gobernador."

"The host was exceptional. I had passport issues and the lady helped me get to a number of different embassies, and also drove me outn of hours back to the airport when my airline changed flight. Outstanding service. Note that there are no facilities onsite, so come equipped."
