"Nice location on edge of Bagnolles - Northern France's equivalent of the English spa town of Harrogate. Posh haven for the more mature ladies of leisure seeking toy boys or 'water' treatments . . . La Tesse is a delightful hotel surrounded by greenery and a paddock at the back with a small flock of sheep who do a masterful job of lawnmowing. Nice simple ensuite bedroom with VERY comfy bed, good restaurant with simple but first-class food and a fair breakfast, with full cooked if that's your bag. Delightful proprietor and a very fair modern upright piano which guests are welcome to use."

"We have stayed at this hotel before and although out of the centre of Bagnoles it is quiet and peaceful. We find it good value for money and the home cooked food is more than adequate. Simple and basic breakfast. Comfortable for a one night stay."
